American Bully Puppy Health Guarantee

Our Commitment to Your Puppy’s Health

At our kennel, the health, well-being, and happiness of every American Bully puppy are among our highest priorities. We understand that welcoming a new puppy into your family is a significant commitment, and we want you to feel confident and comfortable throughout the adoption process.

We believe every puppy deserves a healthy beginning and a loving forever home. We are committed to providing adopters with honest information regarding their puppy’s health, veterinary care, vaccinations, and medical history.

Our Health Guarantee is designed to provide transparency and peace of mind while helping families understand their responsibilities when welcoming a new American Bully puppy.

Veterinary Examination

Every puppy should receive appropriate veterinary care before joining its new family.

Depending on the puppy’s age and veterinary schedule, health preparation may include:

  • Veterinary health examination
  • Age-appropriate vaccinations
  • Routine deworming
  • Health and vaccination records
  • Documentation of any known health concerns

Copies of available veterinary records will be provided to the adopter.

We encourage every new family to schedule a veterinary examination shortly after bringing their puppy home.

Health Guarantee Coverage

Our health guarantee is intended to address serious congenital or hereditary health conditions diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian within the coverage period specified in the adoption agreement.

Health Guarantee Period: One Year

If a covered condition is diagnosed during the guarantee period, the adopter must notify us promptly and provide the veterinary documentation necessary to review the claim.

Each claim will be evaluated according to the written adoption agreement and applicable laws.

New Puppy Veterinary Examination

We strongly recommend that adopters arrange an independent veterinary examination within 72 hours of receiving their puppy.

This examination helps establish the puppy’s health status after arrival and allows your veterinarian to identify any immediate concerns.

If your veterinarian identifies a potentially serious health issue during this examination, please contact us promptly and provide the relevant veterinary findings.

Please remember that emergency veterinary treatment should never be delayed while waiting for a response from us.

What Is Not Covered?

A health guarantee does not cover every illness, injury, or medical condition that may occur after adoption.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or expressly covered in the adoption agreement, exclusions may include:

  • Illnesses caused by exposure to other animals after adoption
  • Injuries or accidents occurring after the puppy leaves our care
  • Parasites acquired after adoption
  • Conditions resulting from improper nutrition or inadequate care
  • Preventable illnesses associated with missed vaccinations
  • Conditions caused by neglect, abuse, or environmental factors
  • Routine veterinary expenses, vaccinations, and preventative treatments
  • Conditions unrelated to congenital or hereditary health issues

We encourage every adopter to provide appropriate nutrition, veterinary care, exercise, socialization, and a safe living environment.

Adopter Responsibilities

Bringing an American Bully puppy into your home comes with important responsibilities.

To help your puppy grow into a healthy and happy adult, we recommend:

  • Scheduling regular veterinary examinations
  • Following your veterinarian’s vaccination recommendations
  • Maintaining an appropriate deworming and preventative care schedule
  • Providing high-quality, age-appropriate nutrition
  • Maintaining a healthy weight
  • Providing daily exercise and mental stimulation
  • Avoiding excessive exercise during puppy development
  • Providing a safe, clean, and comfortable environment

American Bullies are powerful, muscular dogs that benefit from responsible care, proper nutrition, and appropriate exercise throughout their lives.

How to Submit a Health Guarantee Claim

If you believe your puppy has developed a condition covered by our health guarantee, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us as soon as possible after receiving the veterinary diagnosis.
  2. Provide a written report from a licensed veterinarian.
  3. Include relevant medical records and diagnostic results.
  4. Allow us reasonable time to review the documentation.
  5. Follow the procedures and remedies outlined in your signed adoption agreement.

A Lifetime of Love and Responsibility

Our relationship with adopters does not end when a puppy leaves our kennel.

We hope every American Bully finds a loving, responsible, and permanent family. We encourage adopters to contact us with questions about their puppy’s development, care, nutrition, and adjustment to its new home.

Your puppy deserves a lifetime of love, patience, and responsible care.
